There is a vast shared wealth of experience held within our company that we have access to share with our residents within our management structure.
what makes us different?

We are an entirely non profit organisation and over the years our directors have amassed a comprehensive property portfolio and have committed to allocate these properties for the use of IYL Housing to reflect their commitment in providing longevity and continuity for our residents to ensure that their housing is not disrupted by what can be faced by renting.

Our organisational structure encompasses a versatile and experienced management team who are very experienced in Adult social care.

Our director had over 11 years experience, working with local authorities working as a Care Quality Commission provider.

Our team has experience as a supplier of supported accommodation to local authorities.

IYL - Jubilee Court

Our director has been working with Ofsted as a registered provider for over 12 years.  As we already have many years experience in Early Years care sector, we have many links & experiences that could be of benefit when supporting those in the homeless community.

Our Early years care experience enables us to have an exceptional rapport with young or troubled families, often who need additional support. This instance would be no different.

We have in depth experience of sign posting to additional services, including the council, housing, debt support, health professionals, support workers and many more. We have experience of providing that close support network, individually tailored to a person or family needs that would ne required.   This wealth of experience is very useful in providing different levels of support especially when it comes to families with young children who need to be supported in the right direction.

Housing providers who are set up to assist the homeless, are often not set up to support families with young children, where as we have a unique insight and knowledge of what children need to be nurtured, especially those who have had a particularly challenging start in life.

Having a Lead Professional is a key element of integrated support, taking the lead in co-ordinating the provision of services for the child/young adult and acting as a single point of contact for the child and their family.
Appointing a Lead Professional is central to the effective frontline delivery of services for children and young adults with a range of additional needs. We have vast experience of delivery of such service, allowing us to provide a more integrated approach to providing support to children or young people who are homeless or at risk
of homelessness.

Our ability to apply multi-agency working is embedded into our service. We are experienced with making relevant referrals, and supporting both children and young parents with essential play work and parenting support.

Being Homeless makes children (including those up to the age of 16) extremely vulnerable, we have in depth knowledge of safeguarding and protocols of reporting and supporting as well as experience of developing those trusted relationships between us and the individuals in order to make sure multi-agency support is working at its best to offer the best support package we can.
